Cassia bicapsularis, commonly known as the Butterfly Bush or Buttercup Bush, is a fast-growing, deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub from the Fabaceae family. It is widely grown for its bright yellow, fragrant flowers, which bloom profusely from late summer to early winter (September–December) in Pakistan. The plant attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, making it a great addition to gardens. It grows up to 3-4 meters tall, forming a dense, bushy shape with small, green, compound leaves. Due to its drought tolerance and low maintenance, it is commonly used as an ornamental hedge, screen, or accent plant.
